(phone13 92 76) is a national crisis support line for First Nations people who are feeling overwhelmed or having difficulty coping. The program offers a confidential one-on-one yarning opportunity with a Lifeline-trained Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Crisis Supporter who can provide crisis support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This program has been developed in collaboration with  and is run by First Nations people.

Ngunnawal Centre - has been functioning since 1995 as the focal point for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders studying at the University of Canberra.

The Ngunnawal Centre assists Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students:

  • providing emotional and spiritual support
  • applying for financial assistance
  • with study support and free tuition
  • with leadership development services
  • navigating placement and internship requirements and opportunities
  • by celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture through events on campus.

United Ngunnawal Elders Council - advises the ACT Chief Minister on issues, policies and programs related to the needs of the Ngunnawal people.
The ACT Office for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Affairs (OA&TSIA) provides funding to assist the council’s meetings.
